On the afternoon of 7th April 7, 2022, our school held a patriotic reading and speech contest with the theme of ‘Always Follow the Party and Strive for a New Journey’ in the Lecture Hall, which was attended by  ten contestants from the east and west campuses. Principal Assistant Liu Qiongdan, Director Xu Lihong and teachers Yang Hanpei and Liu Yao were invited as judges.
At the scene of the competition, the students' emotional speeches won rounds of applause, who sincerely expressed their admiration for the motherland and the great Communist Party of China with vivid language and touching examples. Specifically, the heart-moving stories, simple and sincere words and affectionate naaration showcased the spirit of young people in the new era who love the Party and the motherland, work hard, make progress, and strive to realize their dreams.
To conclude, this reading speech contest, as an important activity of patriotic reading education for teenagers, aims to strengthen the ideological and moral education of minors and guide the majority of young students to be firm advocates, practitioners and communicators of patriotism.
